I’m Tina Jost, and I’m so glad you’re here.

My husband, Dan, and I have been married for 30 years, and we are the parents of three grown sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law. We are also blessed with our first granddaughter, who has brought a new kind of joy to our lives. Family is one of the greatest gifts of my life, and I treasure the ordinary moments we share—Sunday brunches, long conversations, laughter, games, and simply being together.

My Catholic faith is at the heart of everything I do.

I am an award-winning, internationally published Catholic author, certified life coach, and speaker. My book, One Hour for My Priest: A Prayer Companion, published by Our Sunday Visitor, received Second Place in the Prayer & Devotional category of the 2025 Catholic Media Association Book Awards. The book has also been published in Spain, and its mission—Helping Catholics Pray for Priests—has become an important part of my work.

Writing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the tenth of eleven children, I grew up surrounded by stories, conversation, faith, and family. Over the years, my writing has appeared in Our Sunday Visitor, The Loop by CatholicVote, The Catholic Miscellany, Theology of Home, and Radiant Magazine. I continue to write and speak about prayer, faith, vocation, and the beautiful ways God works in ordinary life.

Much of my writing begins in Eucharistic Adoration. Time spent before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament has shaped both my prayer life and my work. I am an Anchoress in the Seven Sisters Apostolate and have the privilege of offering a weekly Holy Hour for a priest, an hour that continues to be one of the most meaningful and grounding parts of my week.

Before this chapter of my life, I homeschooled our three sons through high school and co-founded Our Lady Star of the Sea Homeschool Co-Op, where I helped create curriculum, hire teachers, and lead the program for many years. That experience, along with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri–Columbia, eventually led me to become a certified life coach. Today, I love helping others gain clarity, recognize the purpose God has placed in their lives, and move forward with greater confidence and joy.

I am also grateful to be part of the Catholic Writers Guild and a local Catholic writers’ critique group, where friendship, faith, and encouragement continue to shape my work.
